Three persons riding a motorcycle were killed in a road accident near here in Telagnana this evening, police said.
The trio, residents of Narsingapur village in Thadvai mandal of Warangal district, was returning home when a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus dashed against their two- wheeler, killing them on the spot, they said.
The deceased were identified as P Madhu (32), B Yakaiah (41) and A Ravi (29). The mishap took place at Thadvai.
Kadiyam Sreehari, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
Sreehari, who was in adjoining Eturunagaram mandal to attend a meeting of Integrated Tribal Development Agency, made the announcement after visting the mishap site.
He instructed the District Collector to release the amount immediately.
