A tiger attacked and
injured a 32-year-old woman in Jamunha forests under Majhgain range of north Kheri forest division, police said today.
Raj Kumari had unknowingly ventured deep into the forests while collecting fire-woods yesterday when the incident took place, they said.
Though, the woman was saved as her husband along with neighbours rushed to her rescue hearing her noise and drove away the big cat.
The woman sustained injuries on her shoulders, hand and a leg, they said.
She has been admitted to near by Nighasan community health center where her condition was stated out of danger, police said.
