Tirath pitches for enhancing job opportunities for women

Tirath, who is in Washington, said this during the third India-US Strategic Dialogue, a statement issued by her ministry here said.

Tirath pitched for providing opportunity to women for entering labour market, support to small and medium enterprises, linking women to markets and on non-traditional livelihood opportunities.

The minister said that capacities of women entering political space have to be built further in order to overcome gender biases and ensure more effective and inclusive governance.
