TMC leader sent to 10 days police custody in murder case

The procession yesterday was taken out in response to an alleged attack by Islam's associates on the residence of the rival on the night of May 10.

A large police contingent remained deployed in the area to maintain peace, the police said.

The is keeping watch on the law and order situation in all districts, including South 24-district, officials said.

Area domination by special forces through route march have already begun in all sensitive and super sensitive areas, the police said.

Several contingent of forces from other states have already arrived. The rest would reach here by tomorrow, they said.
