TN Minister absent at flagging-off of train by Cong MP

Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Natham R Vishwanathan was conspicuous by his absence when a Congress MP flagged off the Chennai Central-Palani-Chennai Express here today.

The minister, whose name was in the invitation, did not attend the function, while the Palani AIADMK MLA Venugopal reached the venue after Congress MP N S V Chitthan flagged-off the train.

Meanwhile, an official release said following introduction of the train, changes had been made in the pattern of passenger train services from tomorrow.
