Tributes paid to Y B Chavan on birth anniversary

Tributes were paid to former Union Defence Minister and Maharashtra's first Chief Minister Yashwantrao Chavan on his birth centenary today.

In Mumbai, CM Devendra Fadnavis offered floral tributes to the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

At Karad in Chavan's native Satara district, tributes were paid to the leader at Preeti Sangam, the confluence of Krishna and Koyna rivers where his memorial stands.
