District authorities today conducted raids at godowns of fire-cracker manufacturer and seized around four quintals of flash powder and a truck loaded with crackers, for allegedly flouting safety rules.
Officials raided four godowns of cracker manufacturer, Chandu Khan, at Tillor village and seized four quintals of flash powder, used in manufacturing fire crackers, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Neeta Rathore said.
As per the rule, the manufacturer was entitled to stock 15 kg explosive at one place at a time, the SDM said, adding the manufacturer had flouted the rule by storing more quantity of explosive material than permitted.
"We are going to file a case against Khan with competent authority seeking revocation of his licence," the Rathore added.
