Trucks mows down funeral procession: 2 killed 17 injured

Two people were killed and another 17 injured when a truck ran into a funeral procession in central China's Hunan Province today, local authorities said.

The tragedy happened at around 7:23 am, when the gravel truck hit mourners near Huangtang Village in Shaoyang County, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The truck driver has been detained.

The injured, including four seriously hurt, were receiving treatment, it said.
