Trucks to ply till 6 am instead of 8 am in city

The West Bengal government today asked the Kolkata Police to put a check on the movement of trucks in the city and its surroundings after 6 am.

Movement of trucks on city roads till 8 am causes traffic snarls during office hours, a senior state government official said.

From now on, trucks would be allowed to ply till 6 am, he said.
