Tunisian suspect in Germany truck attack freed: prosecutors

A 40-year-old Tunisian man held on suspicion of being an accomplice of jihadist Berlin truck attacker Anis Amri has been freed, prosecutors said today.

Investigations have shown that the man detained yesterday "is not the suspected contact of Anis Amri," said a spokeswoman for the prosecution. "He has therefore been released from detention.
