TV Today Network today reported an increase of 23.98 per cent in standalone net profit at Rs 22.38 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.05 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, TV Today Network informed BSE.
Its total income from operations during the quarter under review was up 7.72 per cent to Rs 136.94 crore as against Rs 127.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Total expenses were up 2.32 per cent to Rs 107.61 crore as against Rs 105.16 crore of 2015-16 period.
Its revenue from Television Broadcasting was up 8.77 per cent to Rs 135.59 crore in the quarter under review, while revenue from radio broadcasting was down 45.52 per cent to Rs 1.34 crore.
Shares of TV Today Network were trading 4.60 per cent up at Rs 314.00 on BSE.
