: A two day National Workshop on Embedded Systems for Defence Applications will be held at nearby Nedumbassery from tomorrow.
National Physical Ocean Laboratory (NPOL) is organizing the workshop, which will be inaugurated by P S Subramanyam, Programme Director (CA) & Director, Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore.
The workshop's main objective is to provide a forum to present and discuss various development methodologies presently adopted by the 15 participating DRDO laboratories for embedded systems development and understand different views on the relative merits of induction of imported vs indigenous COTS hardware in Indian defence systems, a press release said.
