Two die in avalanche

Two persons died after they were buried under a mass of snow following an avalanche in Pulwama district of Kashmir.

The avalanche struck in Nargistan area of Tral in Pulwama at around 2 PM, when the two--both named Mohd Yousuf Gujar-- had gone to the forest area to collect firewood, a police official said.

Thebodies wererecovered by Police andhanded over to their family members forlast rites, he said.
