Two die in explosion while making crackers

Two persons were today killed in an explosion that took place while they were making crackers in Deoria district, police said here.

Subhash (39) and Shani (22) were making crackers in the house in Piramishir village in Mayel area when the incident occurred.

As a result of the explosion the roof collapsed and the house caught fire and the two died on the spot, they said.

Police said Subhash had a licence to prepare crackers, police said, adding, they were probing the matter.
