Two drown, one missing as boat capsizes in river

Two persons today drowned while another is missing as a boat carrying them capsized in Matsyagedda river here, police said.

The mishap occurred when the trio was going from from Peadapeta to Tamarada village, Paderu police station inspector N Sai said.

The diseased have been identified as K Gundanna (50) and K Urmila (40), he said, adding their bodies have been recovered.

Meanwhile, search is on to locate the third person P Kondamma, the officer said.
