Two youths arrested on charges of lifting motorbikes were found hanging today in police lock-up in Meghalaya's West Jaintia hills district, police said.
Kitbok Kassar (24) and Daphah Salanmi Rupon (26) were found hanging inside the lock-up of Jowai police station, they said.
The two were arrested yesterday while they were trying to take the bike on a hired pick up vehicle to Lad Rymbai.
West Jaintia Hills District Magistrate PS Dkhar has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the deaths.
On Thursday, Noresh Koch (40) was found hanging from the ceiling of the lock-up of Tura police station.
