Two inmates escape from jail

escaped from the divisional jail in Bihar's Darbhanga district in the early hours today.

Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Pradeep Kumar Gupta said the two broke open the window of their cells before scaling the jail boundary wallls to make good their escape.

Both the prisoners were lodged at Darbhanga divisional jail in connection with a theft, he said.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the duo and investigation was on in the matter, he said.
