Two killed as auto-rickshaw hits tractor

Two persons were killed and as many injured when an auto-rickshaw rammed into a stationary tractor at Jagdishpur village under Jamhaur police station area in Aurangabad district, police said.

The accident took place when the driver of the auto-rickshaw lost control of the vehicle and collided with the stationary tractor.

Auto-rickshaw driver Jitendra Kumar (30) and a woman passenger Puja Kumar (25) died on the spot while two other passengers sustained injuries, police said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured admitted to Sadar hospital.
