Two killed as motorcycle hits railway level crossing barrier

Two youths were killed when their motorcycle crashed into a railway level crossing barrier in Gola town area here, police said today.

Alok (25) and Monu (22), both residents of Kumharan Tola locality, tried to cross the rail track in a hurry as the barrier was being lowered for an approaching train last night, police said.

The motorcycle hit the iron gate and both died on the spot, they said, adding the barrier was also damaged, disturbing vehicular traffic for few hours.
