Two persons were killed at Nidigonda village of Raghunathpally mandal in the district today after a van was hit by a state transport bus on the Warangal-Hyderabad national highway.
Sub-inspector Y Satyanarayana identified the victims as Mohan Reddy (43), driver of the van and Koyilkar Savithri Bai (45) who was travelling in the bus. Both died on the spot.
The van was coming from Hanamkonda while the bus was coming from Jangaon and heading for Hanamkonda.
