Two persons were killed and three others were injured when a car collided with a jeep near Masani village in this district, police said today.
Ghanshyam (70) and Narender (44 )died while Ghanshyam's wife Badamo Devi, her son Purshottam and Purshottam's wife Sunesh were injured when the two vehicles collided head on at a place, near Masani village on Dharuhera-Rewari road last night.
Ghanshyam and his other family members were on their way from Gurgaon to their village in Jhunjhunoo district of Rajasthan in a car whereas Narender and his tenant Tarun were returning in a jeep from Rewari to their Begumpur village in Gurgaon district, police said.
The car was being driven by Purshottam while Narender was driving the jeep.
The Dharuhera police, which registered a case of negligence against Purshottam. The injured have been admitted to hospital, they added.
