Two members of a marriage band killed in road mishap

Two members of a marriage band were killed and three others injured when they were hit by a truck in Banrahiyabagh area here, police said.

The group was returning after a wedding ceremony when their vehicle developed a snag. As they were standing on the road, a truck coming from Azamgarh hit them, they said.

Mahesh Soni (25), the owner of the band, and Alauddin, a member, (28) died on the spot while the three injured were admitted to a district hospital, police added.
