Two nabbed by UP STF

Two persons were today arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh police for appearing in written exam for recruitment of constables in place of bonafide aspirants.

The arrests were made in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bareilly districts, an official release here said.

Vikram Kumar was arrested from Vaidik Kanya Inter-college Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar, while Dinesh Kumar was picked up from Guru Nanak Singh Kanya Inter-college centre in Baradari area of Bareilly.

Kumar was appearing on behalf of Chandra Mohan Singh, while Dinesh was appearing for Neeraj Kumar.

Both of them were to be given about Rs 1.25 lakh by the gang, which is operated by Ashok Kumar Vishnoi.
