Two PLFI ultras arrested

Two ultras were arrested from Belatulunga village in naxal-affected West Singhbhum district today, a senior police officer said.

The arrest was made when the district police and paramilitary force were carrying vehicle checking drive, said Superintendent of Police, N K Singh.

Singh told newsmen that the arrested ultras of People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were identified as Mantosh Lakua and Hemant Singhdeo.

Police have recovered a 9mm pistol and three live cartridges from Lakua. Naxal uniform and dhotis were recovered from Singhdeo.
