Two siblings drown in pond

Two siblings drowned while bathing in a pond at Chaumuha fair under Vrindaban Police Station area today.

Abhishek (10) and Anjali (7) drowned while bathing in the pond. Another minor, Mohit (8), was however rescued by the villagers, Deputy Superintendent of Police Alok Dubey said.

The father of the three children, Vinod Kumar of Karahari village, had come to the fair to sell toys, police said.
