Two women buried alive

Two women were allegedly

buried alive by some villagers in remote Silphata Naharbari after branding them as 'witches', police said today.

Sawni Gaur (48) and Sago Gaur (60) were buried alive yesterday by some villagers describing them as 'witches'.

After getting information this morning, police recovered their bodies and arrested two youths while others are absconding, they said.
