Uttarakhand government is planning to hold more fairs on the lines of 'Saras Mela' to provide a platform for the local enterpreneurs to sell their goods and exchange business expertise, Chief Minister Harish Rawat said.
Fairs like this play a significant role in rural development and in strengthening the rural economy, Rawat said.
The government is planning to organise many more such melas that will help in providing market access to local products and also act as a platform for exchanging business expertise, he added.
