Uday Shankar, CEO, STAR India was today re-elected as The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF)'s President for the second term running.
The Sixteenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of IBF was held here.
"In the IBF Board of Directors meeting thereafter, Uday Shankar, CEO, STAR India, was re-elected as the Foundation's President for the second term running," a statement by it said.

The IBF Board also re-elected Punit Goenka, Managing Director, Zee Media Corp, N P Singh, CEO, Multi Screen Media, Rajat Sharma, Chairman, India TV, as IBF Vice Presidents, and Rahul Johri, Executive Vice President and General Manager, South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, as IBF Treasurer.
On being re-elected IBF President Shankar said, "I am humbled by IBF members' confidence in re-electing me. Broadcasting sector is going through a transition due to changes in technology and business environment and I hope to work with the government, industry and other stakeholders for realisation of the sector's potential".
