An ultra of Jharkhand Janmukti Morcha (JJMP) has been killed by a rival outfit, Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), during a gun battle at Chudia village in Latehar district, the police said here today.
The body was recovered this morning, the police said.
The police quoting the villagers said around 40 ultras of the TPC were having dinner at a house when 60 to 70 extremists of the JJMP surrounded the area and asked their rivals to come out.

The TPC ultras opened gun fire, killing Kherwar and the gun fight lasted about one hour, the police said.
At least half-a-dozen cattle heads were killed after bullet shots hit them, the sources said.
