Chain-snatcher arrested in Thane

Police today nabbed a chain-snatcher after a five-km long chase.

Assistant police inspector Vilas Jachak of Rabodi police station said that he and his colleagues saw two men on bike snatching chain of an old lady at Castle Mills Naka at around seven this morning.

Police chased them and finally nabbed one of them -- Shyam Ashok Revankar (25) -- at Kopri Naka.

Hunt was on for the second culprit.
