Some 15-20 unidentified ultras stalled construction work of a polytechnic college in Kujra village in Lohardaga district and beat up labourers, a senior police officer said today.
A group of 15 to 20 ultras arrived at the construction site last night and roughed up the labourers present there and asked them to stop the construction work, the officer said.
The group also snatched nine mobile phones from the labourers, the officer said.
SP Karthik S said police have registered a case against unidentified ultras from the extreme left outfit 'Trutiya Prastuti Committee' and its 'Commander' Prabhatji.
