Under-trial escapes from court premises

An under-trial facing murder charges today escaped from the court premises here after dodging police personnel.

Guddu alias Babloo (32), booked under Section 302 of IPC (murder) and Gangsters Act, and lodged in district jail for past over three years, was brought to the court for hearing, police said.

A manhunt has been launched to nab him, Jailor P K Shukla said.
