Union Min Paswan turns 67

Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today turned 67, an occasion he celebrated in a low-key manner with his family and party workers here.

Paswan, also President of his Lok Janshakti Party, received greetings from President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice- President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi besides a number of other leaders.

A large number of workers gathered at his residence to greet and the MP shared sweets with them.

Paswan, a prominent Dalit leader from Bihar, aligned with BJP just before elections and it paid him rich dividends as his party won six seats from Bihar, its largest ever.
