UP: Governor hosts Iftar party

Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi today hosted an Iftar party at the Raj Bhawan lawns here, which was attended by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and two of his cabinet colleagues.

Cabinet ministers Ahmed Hasan and Ram Govind Chaudhary, besides Laliji Tandon of BJP and Pramod Tewari of Congress, also attended the ceremony, Raj Bhavan officials said.

Some of the noted clerics belonging to the Muslim community also attended the Iftar party, they added.
