USD 7,800 recovered from Singapore bound passenger

Customs officials today recovered USD 7,800 from a Singapore-bound passenger at the airport here, police said.

Zakir Hussain was found carrying the US Dollars, valuing Rs five lakh in Indian currency, by the CISF during a security check, police said.

Later, Customs officials seized the US currency, they added.
