The Director General of School Education has issued instructions to district authorities to use e-mail for routine daily correspondence, an official spokesman said here today.
All District Education Officers, Block Primary Education Officers and main offices of the department have been told to use e-mail for their daily correspondence, he said.
Most district education offices often ask for hard copy of the required information which is a wastage of time and paper, the spokesman said.
Officers have been directed to procure hard copies only when the internet facility is not available, he said.
