Uzbek woman rescued from flesh trade; two held

Police today nabbed two persons from a flat in Saifabad area for allegedly running a brothel and rescued a 27-year-old Uzbek woman.

The arrested persons are identified as PITA Organiser I Vijay Kumar (63) and a woman, a PITA Sub-Organiser, a release from the Hyderabad Police said.

The duo allegedly procured the Uzbekistan national from Delhi and were running the brothel from the rented flat, it said.

The duo also procured women from Mumbai and engaged them in flesh trade, it said.

A case was registered and further probe is on.
