Vaishnodevi pilgrim dies in J&K

A 40-year-old Gurgaon resident, bound for Vaishno Devi shrine, today died in his hotel room in Katra town of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pana Lal, who complained of uneasiness, was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra, early morning. He later died there, a police official said.

Lal's family members have refused to get an autopsy done, he said, adding a case has been registered in this regard and the body handed over to the relatives.
