A 10-year-old boy was injured after a pomegranate vendor beat him up today at Purani Sabji Mandi at Sihanigate police station.
Ramu, son of one Mangal Yadav, allegedly picked pomegranate stealthily from the cart of the accused in the market, police said.
The cart owner caught Ramu and beat him up. He hit the boy in his head with weight balance, Ramu's uncle Anil Yadav told police in his complaint.
The injured boy has been hospitalised.
