Welfare secretary to inspect condition of SC/ST hostel

The direction was issued to the secretary of the department after the division bench of Justices N N Tiwary and Jaya Roy heard a petition filed by Jharkhand Dalit Adhikar Morcha.

According to the petition, the condition of the hostel built by the department for boarding SC/ST students, but was not providing funds for repair and maintenance and that there was no guard to man the hostel.
