An administrator and a member of a WhatsApp group have been booked for allegedly posting objectionable content against a particular community at Kandhla town, police said today.
Admin of the group, Baram Saini and a member Deepak were yesterday booked by Kandhla police on the complaint of one Aslam, Circle officer N P Singh said.
A case has been lodged under sections 153 (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 153A and 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) of the IPC, he said.
