Widespread rainfall in Rajasthan, Bundi records 9 cm

People in Rajasthan have a big sigh of relief from sultry weather as the widespread rains occurred at many places in the state with Bundi recorded the maximum rainfall of 9 cm, MeT office said.
Light to moderate rains occurred at many places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Kota and Ajmer districts.
Mandal recorded a maximum rainfall of 8 cm followed by Bhopalsagar and Bassi 6 cm each, Ramgarhpachwara, Kathumar, Rajgarh, Bansu, Patan, Rajsamand, Todabheem, Makrana 5 cms each, Sikari, Puskar, Jamwaramgarh, Kishangarh, Bari, Bayana 4 cm each, and 3 to one cms at many places in the state.

Heavy rainfall would likely to occur in eastern Rajasthan during the next 24 hours, a MeT office forecast said.
