A 26-year-old woman was allegedly harassed by her father, stepbrother and stepmother on several occasions, police said today.
The woman, a resident of Old Faridabad, lodged a complaint with the police that her father Harish Sharma, stepbrother Manni and stepmother Poonam harassed her on several occasions, police said.
After the death of his first wife in January, Sharma shifted to Delhi and started staying with his second wife, they said.
The woman also shifted to Delhi in February this year, they said, adding, she was harassed on several occasions by the accused who threatened her of dire consequences in case she disclosed anything, they said.
An FIR in this matter has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC against the accused, they said.
Investigating officer ASI Babita said that since the matter relates to Delhi, a zero FIR was filed and the matter has been transferred to Delhi Police.
