Five Naxals, including a woman - collectively carrying a reward of Rs 14 lakh on their heads - have surrendered in adjoining Gadchiroli district, police said today.
The five, facing a number of criminal cases including arson, murder and supplying essential commodities to Naxals, gave themselves up to police in the district in North-East Maharashtra, the law enforcement agency said in a release.
They were identified as Kalidas alias Ramlal Sarda from Dhanora, who was wanted in 14 offences committed between 2008 and 2013 and carried Rs 4 lakh reward on his head.

Jagesh Jitiram was involved in Naxal-related activities from 2015 to 2016 and carried Rs 4 lakh reward. Ankita Janki Wadde, from Etapalli, was carrying Rs 2 lakh reward on her head and was wanted in six offences (2010-2012).
Jiwan Chabilal Madavi and Sukjman Wadde, residents of Murumgaon were carrying reward of Rs 2 lakh each, the release added.
