In a gruesome incident, a woman was allegedly burnt alive by some assailants over a property dispute, police said today.
Additional SP (City) Sameer Saurabh said a probe has been ordered into allegations that the attackers doused the woman, Shahjehan, with kerosene and put her ablaze in CB Ganj police station area yesterday.
The woman, who was alone in her house at the time of the attack, was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police has been looking for four accused, including a woman, against whom the deceased made a dying declaration.
