Woman, child killed in shed collapse

A woman and a child were today killed when the shed at a bus stop here collapsed on them, police said here.

Strong winds in the morning caused a tree to fall on the shed of the bus stand, trapping 10 persons under, SP Onkar Singh said, adding that among them were the woman and the boy.

Singh said that of the remaining eight, one person who had sustained serious injuries had been referred to Varanasi for treatment.
