Woman commits suicide after killing 2 children in UP

A 28-year-old woman committed suicide after administering poison to her two minor children in Tiwaripur area, police said here today.

Rupa last night gave poison to her daughter Mahi (8) and six-month-old son Anmol in Bilandpur village, they said, she later hanged herself.

Financial crisis was initially stated to be the reason behind the incident, police said, adding a probe is on.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
