Woman dies after consuming poisonous substance in Raj

A 24-year-old married woman, who had allegedly tried to commit suicide by consuming a poisonous substance, died during treatment, police said today.

Seema Meghwal collapsed last evening at her residence in in Jhopdiya village and bluish-white foams started pouring out of her mouth following which her family members rushed her to a community health centre in Sultanpur, SHO at Budadeet police station Ramlaxman said.

She was later referred her to Maharao Bhim Singh (MBS) hospital in Kota.

A case was registered under Section 176 of the CrPC, the SHO said, adding that the body was handed over to her family members after postmortem.
