A 55-year-old woman died here after falling from the upper storey of her house while trying to escape a monkey attack, police said today.
Lilavati, a resident of Kuralsi village under Budhana police station, had gone to gather dried clothes from the second floor of her house when a group of two-three monkeys attacked her yesterday, a police official said.
In a bid to escape the attack, she started running and accidentally fell from the terrace, he said, adding that she died on spot.
