Rani, mother of a one-year-old girl, bolted her room from inside after a dispute with mother-in-law this morning and hanged herself from a ceiling fan at Valmiki Basti here, they said.
Later, police was called, which broke open the room and found the body of Rani.
She was married to Chetan, a tempo driver, two years ago.
